A former Omaha gymnastics coach pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to sending a naked photo of himself to a 13-year-old student.
Bohumir N. Benak, 25, is charged with felony enticement by electronic communication device.
The girl attended Benak's Omaha gymnastics school, but the charge was filed in Lancaster County District Court because the picture at the center of the case was delivered through a cell tower in Lancaster County, prosecutors said.
The photo allegedly shows Benak naked from the waist down. The girl received the photo in February 2010, but Benak wasn't charged until December 2011. Benak was released from jail on a $2,500 bond. His trial is scheduled for later this year.
Benak faces five years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both if he is convicted of the class four felony.
