The majority of county board members up for election from Sarpy and Douglas Counties have filed to seek additional four-year terms.
In Douglas County, four of the seven seats on the board are up for election.

Democrat Chris Rodgers is seeking his third term in District 3.
Current board Chairman Marc Kraft, a Democrat, is seeking a second term in District 5. He served on the Omaha City Council from 1997 to 2005.

The other Douglas County offices up for election include the clerk, public defender and District 7 on the county board. None of these incumbents has filed yet.
Three of the five Sarpy County Board seats are up for election.
Board members Tom Richards, Rusty Hike and Jim Nekuda, all of Bellevue, had each filed to seek another term as of Thursday.

Incumbents have until 5 p.m. Feb. 15 to file for re-election. Challengers have until 5 p.m. March 1.
