Conditions unsafe for ice fishing derby
The $25,000 Winterfest Ice Fishing Derby scheduled for Saturday at Lake Manawa has been canceled.
The weather this winter has not stayed cold for a long enough period of time to sustain the 8 inches of ice required for the derby.
The Derby committee will still draw names for various prizes. For a link to the winners, click here.
