No injuries in derailment

MONROE, Neb. (AP) — No injuries have been reported in a derailment near Monroe in east-central Nebraska’s Platte County.

Two cars of a 134-car train left the tracks around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Some street crossings were blocked for several hours.

The Nebraska Central Railroad Co. said the derailment was cleared by 3 p.m. Sunday.
