WASHINGTON - Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb, said Wednesday he's not worried his party will lose his seat after former Sen. Bob Kerrey announced he would pass on the race.
Democrats have potential candidates who are credible, Nelson said.
"When you look, the field on the other side is, in my opinion, weak," Nelson said during his weekly conference call with reporters. "And all I can think about is all these Super PACs sitting around with all the money and nobody to attack."
