LINCOLN (AP) — A new report from a real estate data research firm says Nebraska had one of the lowest foreclosure rates in the nation in 2011.
CoreLogic says 1 percent of Nebraska homes were in the foreclosure process at the end of last year. That's the fourth-lowest rate in the United States. Only Alaska, North Dakota and Wyoming had lower foreclosure rates.
CoreLogic says the national foreclosure rate was 3.4 percent at the end of last year because 1.4 million homes were involved in the foreclosure process.
