A 21-year-old Norfolk man was charged with two counts of felony motor vehicle homicide Wednesday in Platte County Court.
Genaro Anaya was being held in the Platte County Jail on $150,000 bail. He must pay 10 percent of that amount in order to be released.
Anaya was arrested Jan. 28 on suspicion of drunken driving after the car he was driving rolled at 23rd Street and East 11th Avenue in Columbus.
Passengers Zachary Tharnish, 22, of St. Edward and Candace Randall-Stewart, 19, of Columbus died of injuries suffered in the accident. Another passenger, Skye Butterfield, 18, of Columbus was treated at a hospital and released. — Kevin Cole
