    Huskers take four titles

    The Huskers took four individual titles at two meets Friday, with the Nebraska runners competing at the Iowa State Classic in Ames and the pole vaulters, throwers and jumpers in action at the Tyson Invitational at the University of Arkansas.

    At Fayetteville, Luke Pinkelman remained undefeated on the season with his first-place finish in the shot put. Pinkelman recorded a season-best 64-12, his third NCAA-automatic qualifying mark of the season. Brenna Bussel went on to take the women's College Division pole vault title with a personal-best 12-1112.

    At Ames, sophomore Ellie Grooters took home the women's 800-meter title in 2:11.24, a personal best. Meanwhile, freshman Ricco Hall clinched the men's 200-meter title in 21.40. Hall currently holds the top Husker time in the 200 meters and the 400 meters.

    Action on Sunday in Fayetteville continues at 10 a.m. while events begin at 11 a.m. in Ames.
