Bradenton, Fla. — The Nebraska men's golf team went 1-1 Friday at the Big Ten match play, defeating No. 5-seeded Michigan State before falling to No. 4 Purdue.
The 12th-seeded Huskers went 3-3-0 in their morning wave match against the Spartans.NU would ultimately advance to the next round against Purdue because they won more total holes in the match.
In the quarterfinals, the Huskers lost 5-1-0. NU will face No. 3 Indiana Saturday morning.
