LINCOLN — Josh Banderas won't be one of those Nebraska high school players begging for attention from college football programs in the 2013 recruiting cycle.
But the Lincoln Southwest linebacker — and son of former Husker tight end Tom Banderas — wouldn't mind getting an offer from home-state Nebraska at Saturday's Junior Day.
"Before I go to the Junior Day, I'm going to narrow it down for what I want to do," he told Huskers Illustrated, a recruiting partner with The World-Herald. "I'm hoping Nebraska will offer me. I'd like to talk with the coaches about when I would play and stuff like that."
