PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Creighton finished a four-game sweep of Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a doubleheader sweep on Sunday, taking game one 10-2 and the nightcap 12-0 on a combined no-hitter by Sammy Snygg and Alexis Cantu.
Snygg (1-0) struck out a career-high eight through five innings.
Cantu then sat down all six batters she faced, including three via strikeout, to log the first combined no-hitter by the Bluejay pitching staff since Feb. 17, 2007.
