Tillman T. Henderson, 24, also was booked on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a felon.
He is a suspect in the shooting of Matthew M. Voss, 34, of Omaha, who died around 3:30 Saturday morning near 16th and Harney Streets.
Police arrested Henderson on Saturday evening on suspicion of possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
