LINCOLN — The Nebraska Liquor Control Commission voted Wednesday to deny a liquor license to Jeffrey Rothlisberger, who has operated a troubled keno hall near 65th Street and Ames Avenue in recent years.
Neighbors of the business have objected to the disruptions at the Keno King business, including shootings on the premises. Tom Mumgaard, deputy city attorney, said the problems have continued despite efforts to work with Rothlisberger.
Rothlisberger said that he has done what he could do prevent violence and that he should be given a second chance to protect his investment in the business. "It's not me, it's the location," he said.
