Lions Club chili and auction, Feb. 26

The Ralston Lions Club will hold its 12th annual Chili Feed and Auction Sunday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ralston Senior Center, 73rd and Q streets.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages six to 12. Children five and under will be admitted free. The meal is all you care to eat, with beverages and desserts.

The live auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., with Don Groesser as auctioneer.

Among the items up for bids are mini football helmets autographed by Nebraska football player Rex Burkhead and Husker coach Bo Pelini, a volleyball autographed by the Big Ten Conference Champion NU volleyball team. Proceeds from the event will be used for the Lions Club's various causes, including eye exams, eyeglasses, diabetes awarenss, seeing-eye dogs and the Nebraska Lions Foundation
