Dark posts may be indicators of depression and serve as an early warning system for intervention. Whether therapists should engage with patients over Facebook, however, remains a matter of debate. Online outbreaks: To get an early read on illness outbreaks, epidemiologists are looking for clues online. They have found people who type "fever" or "flu medication" into a search engine are more likely to end up in a hospital a few days later. (NPR)
Ben & Jerry's goes Greek: Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry's is capitalizing on the Greek yogurt craze by unveiling four new flavors this month. The flavors, Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Peanut Butter, Raspberry Fudge Chunk and Blueberry Graham Cracker, contain fewer calories than normal ice cream, but tasters say they don't taste much like Greek yogurt. VIDEO: Television cameras followed 21-year-old Kirstie Mills Tancock of the UK as she simultaneously planned her wedding and waited for a lung transplant. Tancock was born with cystic fibrosis that reduced her lung capacity to 16 percent. Watch a short clip as one of her doctors explains how dangerous her condition is.
