Omaha's going to close out February with a wintry mix and see-sawing temps.
A storm system will arrive Monday night with light snow before warming into rain on Tuesday. Showers are expected to continue through Wednesday.
"The majority of the precipitation should be light," said Steve Travis, a meteorologist with AccuWeather, The World-Herald's private weather consultant. "It'll be gone Thursday, as temps climb to the 50s. But it's going to make the start of the week a little bit wet."
The National Weather Service forecast says the back end of the week will be mild, sunny and breezy. Not too cold but not too comfortable.
A typical March.
