Fashion, fun, fundraising at House of Loom

Fashion and fundraising will be the focus of the SOHA — Style Omaha, Help All — event Saturday at the House of Loom.

The charity fashion show showcases local businesses and nonprofits while trying to make the community a better place.

Local models will show off fashion from area boutiques including Roots & Wings, Denim Salon, Piper, Skyz Boutique, Paperdoll, All About Me, Beyourself Boutique and more.

SOHA hopes the show will inspire young individuals from the area, who want to make a statement with their fashion, to purchase clothes from local shops and boost the growth and urban development happening in Omaha.

The SOHA Charity Fashion Show begins at 8 p.m. at the House of Loom, 1012 S. 10th St. The 21 and older event is $5, with all proceeds raised going directly to the Abide Network, an organization that enlists the support and active participation of the community to increase racial harmony, improve urban neighborhoods and provide vision for the future.

Visit www.facebook.com/SOHAEvent or call 402-670-2051 for more information.
