Husker recruit Greg Hart sees a different future for Nebraska's offense.
The tight end committed in May, becoming a member of the class of 2013, because of where the offense could end up under coordinator Tim Beck.
Hart, a 6-foot-5, 220-pounder from Dayton (Ohio) Alter High School, envisions the offense moving from a rush-heavy look to a balanced scheme. He said the Husker staff did a good job explaining its vision during his unofficial visits in May and June.
And that picture is ultimately what sold Hart on the program.
“I feel like that offense is really developing,” Hart said. “What Coach Tim Beck came from was more spread where they threw the ball around at Kansas. He's trying to develop that in a sense at Nebraska. I feel like they'll pass the ball a lot more, simply because Taylor Martinez got a lot better this past spring.”
