An Omaha man is accused of abducting a woman outside a Walmart store late Monday.
Adrian L. Ross, 25, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment in connection with an incident that began shortly after 11:30 p.m. near 128th and L Streets.
A man had called 911 to report that a man got into his wife’s car and abducted her. He told dispatchers that his wife was being taken to Bellevue in a red Geo with Ohio license plates.
A short time later, Bellevue police stopped the vehicle near 15th Street and Cornhusker Road.
The husband was reunited with his wife, who was unharmed, at Omaha Police Headquarters.
It was unclear whether the encounter was random.
According to a search of Nebraska court records, Ross was arrested in Lancaster County earlier this year for violating a protection order.
