A 14-year-old Omaha boy was critically injured Friday when he was struck by a car, police said.
Isaac O. Aragon was hit about 7:15 p.m. near 132nd Street and Larimore Avenue.
He and a friend were crossing just north of Larimore, outside of a crosswalk and away from the intersection, Sgt. Joe Collins said. They were walking east across 132nd Street.
Isaac was struck by a northbound Buick LeSabre driven by Amy J. Price, 28, of Omaha. His friend was not hit.
Isaac suffered a fractured skull, facial injuries and a broken right leg. The injuries are life-threatening, Collins said. He was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center.
Price was not speeding and will not be ticketed, Collins said.
