Diana Krall coming to Omaha

Jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall is coming to Omaha next year.

The five-time Grammy-winner will perform at the Orpheum Theater on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Tickets start at $50 and will go on sale Monday. They can be purchased through TicketOmaha.com, by calling 402-345-0606 or at the Ticket Omaha office at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 13th and Douglas Streets.

Krall first took the jazz world by storm in the ’90s and has since become one of the most acclaimed and top-selling jazz performers in the world.

Krall’s latest album, “Glad Rag Doll,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Traditional Jazz chart, her 10th consecutive spot at the top, and at No. 6 on the Billboard 200, her fifth consecutive top 10 debut.
