For The Faint, playing live is a celebration of its music.
Right now, the popular, Omaha-based band is celebrating its 2001 album, “Danse Macabre,” which was just re-released by Saddle Creek Records.
The album hits on new wave synth sounds and modern electronic swells to make a kind of punk rock you can dance to.
Same goes for the band’s newest songs in four years, which are available at the band’s show tomorrow. “Evil Voices” is the title track and pulls listeners along with a sprinting melody and lyrics about the evil voices lying when they scream inside your head.
For now, the band doesn’t know if the EP will be released as part of a larger album or tour-only, as its available now.
