Green Day, which had previously postponed an Omaha concert, officially canceled the show.
The concert, which was scheduled for Feb. 4, was originally postponed to an unspecified date when singer Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab.
On Monday, Green Day announced 11 concerts it would play in 2013 and canceled 10 more, including the concert at CenturyLink Center.
Refunds for tickets already purchased are available at the point of purchase.
“I’m getting better everyday,” Armstrong said in a press release. “So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can’t wait to get on the road and live out loud! Our passion has only grown stronger.”
It’s possible that the band could schedule a future Omaha concert. The band said additional concert dates will be announced in early 2013.
