The Bemis Center for Contemporary Art has a new director.
Adam Price is coming to Omaha in early February to lead Bemis. Most recently, he was director of the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. He graduated from Harvard Law School and Columbia University.
The Bemis Center had a nationwide search for a new director led by Bemis board member Todd Simon along with eight other board members and two staff members. The committee received more than 40 applications for the director position and brought the top two candidates to Omaha.
Simon said in a press release that Price was the most qualified candidate for the position.
Price starts at the Bemis Feb. 25.
