The Nebraska rifle team travels to top-ranked West Virginia at 7 a.m. on Saturday. The Mountaineers (9-0, 4-0) are averaging more than 4,709 points per match.
The Huskers (8-4, 2-1) tied their best team score of the season last weekend but lost to Air Force 4,658-4,643.
"For it being the first match back with limited training, our team performed well," coach Stacy Underwood said. "From here on out, the road only gets more challenging. In order to reach our peak potential, we are going to have to step out of our comfort zone, trust our training and believe in the possibility of what we can achieve together."
