YORK - For 31 minutes and 54 seconds the Exeter-Milligan Timberwolf defense gave Class D-2 No. 3 Giltner all they could handle and then some.
The Hornets needed a basket in the final seconds to survive and move on to the CRC semifinals with the 46-45 win.
Giltner will take on Osceola on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the second boys' semifinal.

A pass over the defense inside to Garrett Poppen who rolled into the paint off a ball screen gave the Hornets the win. The T-Wolves' defense could not get to Poppen before the 6-1 junior scored the final two points.
