Former Smiths singer Morrissey postponed his upcoming Lincoln concert. Again.
Last year, Morrissey postponed a series of dates, including one in Lincoln in November, when he had to attend to his ailing mother in the hospital. Those dates were eventually rescheduled, but the Lincoln concert and five others are being postponed again.
A spokeswoman for Morrissey said he was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer. He was treated at a suburban Detroit hospital and missed three concerts over the weekend.
“Morrissey is expected to make a full recovery and thanks everyone concerned for their support during this time,” his spokesperson said.
Ticketholders are being asked to keep their tickets because those dates will be rescheduled.
The tour is scheduled to resume Feb. 9 in Las Vegas. Morriseey's spokeswoman said he is expected to fully recover and “thanks everyone concerned for their support during this time.”
