Senior guard Paige Frauendorfer earned her third Summit League Player of the Week honor on Monday after her performances against North Dakota State and South Dakota State last week.
On Thursday, Frauendorfer led UNO to a 61-52 win over NDSU at the Sapp Fieldhouse with a season-high 25 points and eight rebounds. She shot 10 of 16 (62.5 percent) from the floor and became the 25th player in UNO history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau.
Frauendorfer followed on Saturday with a 16-point, six-rebound, four-steal effort in a 74-64 loss to league-leading South Dakota State.
For the week, Frauendorfer averaged 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. She shot 48.5 percent (16 of 33) from the field and was 8 of 8 from the free throw line.
For the season, Frauendorfer is fifth in the conference in scoring (14.0 points per game) and first in rebounding (8.5). She is the only player in the top five in both categories.
Kansas City’s Eilise O’Connor also received Summit League Player of the Week honors on Monday. The two are the only players to be honored three times so far this season.
