EVANSTON, Ill. — The Nebraska swimming and diving team ended its regular season Saturday with one win and two losses at the Northwestern Invitational.
The Huskers won their dual meet against Northwestern by a score of 198-171 but fell to No. 15 Ohio State 224-134 and Iowa 191-179.
Hayley Martin paced NU with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (55.33 seconds) and a third-place mark in the 200 freestyle (1:51.17). Martin was also part of NU's second-place 200 medley relay team.
Taryn Collura also earned a win for the Huskers, taking the 100 freestyle in 50.56.
Nebraska (12-3), which finished the season with a school-record victory total, and returns to action at the Big Ten championships Feb. 20 to 23.
