COMEDY

Daniel Tosh to play Lincoln shows
By Kevin Coffey
WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER

If you need something to bring you down (with some laughs included), try out stand-up comedian Daniel Tosh's upcoming Lincoln shows.

Tosh is known for his mocking comedy style and his “Tosh.0” Comedy Central series that mixes obnoxious jokes with silly videos from the Internet. Tosh will perform twice at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln on June 3.

The 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. performances will include an opening set from comedian Jarrod Carmichael.

Tosh sold out his last two performances in Omaha, one of which benefited animal rescue groups.

If you can't make the Lincoln performance, Tosh will also perform June 4 in Ames, Iowa, and June 5 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Tickets for Tosh's pair of Lincoln performances go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at liedcenter.org. Tickets to all other shows on the tour are available at ticketmaster.com.
