Omaha’s current winning streak is a season-best six games. … Goalie Alex Lyon has won five straight starts and nine of his past 10 appearances in goal. The Yale recruit is tied for the USHL lead in wins with 21. … The Lancers are 14-7 in home games and 14-10 on the road. In those games away from Ralston Arena, Omaha has outscored its opponents 69-62.
Sioux Falls scouting report: Sioux Falls (29-12-2) leads the Western Conference with 60 points, four ahead of the Lancers. … The Stampede are 1-3 against Omaha this season, but that lone victory was in the one game played on the Stampede’s home ice. … Sioux Falls is 17-5 at home and has outscored opponents 96-71 in those games.
Tri-City scouting report: The Storm enter the weekend with an 18-21-4 record and are seventh in the Western Conference. Four of Tri-City’s wins have come against the Lancers, including the last meeting, a 3-2 win at Ralston Arena on Dec. 29. … Three of the teams’ five games have been decided by one goal, all Tri-City victories. … Forward Trevor Moore leads all Storm skaters with 44 points.
