Deandre Hollins-Johnson scored a game-high 17 points and teammate Tra-Deon Hollins added 13 as Top 10 No. 1 Omaha Central beat Grand Island 70-35 in a District A-1 semifinal Saturday.
The three-time defending state champions advance to Monday's district final against the winner of Omaha Burke and Omaha Westside, Saturday's other semifinal.
Both Central guards were 6 of 8 from the floor on the night. Hollins-Johnson made four of his six 3-point attempts.
The Eagles used a 22-6 third quarter to put the game away.
“We separated a little there in the third,” Central coach Eric Behrens said. “It's just about win and advance at this point.”
Kevin Scott and Nick Billingsley eached chipped in 10 points for Central.
Pierce Almond led Grand Island with 12 points.
