Hand-made signs are so popular with attendees of Taylor Swift's concerts that there are blogs dedicated to ideas and YouTube videos meant to be inspiration.
Fans hope that a clever or cute sign will help them get featured on a video screen, get Swift's attention or, maybe, get to meet the mega-popular singer.
CenturyLink Center Omaha, where Swift opens her Red Tour on Wednesday and Thursday, has issued some clarifications and rules for bringing signs at the concert.
Chief among them: Signs will not be allowed on the main floor area of the concert.
In other sections, they are allowed, but can't block other guests' view of the concert. Signs also must be hand-held and made of paper or poster board. And, of course, no offensive language is allowed.
