A former Council Bluffs star of MTV's “Teen Mom” was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence in Omaha.
Farrah Abraham, 21, was arrested shortly after midnight Monday, according to Officer Michael Pecha, a spokesman for the Omaha Police Department.
Abraham became known as a reality TV star on MTV's “16 and Pregnant” and its spinoff, “Teen Mom.”
Abraham – a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, the author of two books, “My Teenage Dream Ended” and “Passy Perfume” and mother to now 4-year-old Sophia – was arrested after taking a wide turn on 11th and Howard streets and nearly striking a police cruiser.
Pecha said Abraham's blood alcohol content level measured .147, nearly twice the legal limit of .08.
In 2009, Abraham pleaded guilty in Douglas County Court to being a minor in possession of alcohol. She was fined $75.
