The UNO softball team will get a second shot at beating Nebraska.
The teams met last week in Lincoln, with the Huskers rallying for a 3-2 victory.
Because of unplayable field conditions in Omaha, Wednesday’s 5 p.m. game was moved to Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln.
Admission is free because of the venue and date change.
No. 24 Nebraska (22-6) has won 11 of 12 games. The Huskers faced two Summit League opponents last week, defeating UNO and splitting a doubleheader with North Dakota State.
Because of weather postponements, last week’s loss to NU is the only game the Mavericks (22-3) have played since March 10. They are averaging 6.2 runs per game.
