False alarm: Omaha student brings catnip, not drugs, to school
Officials at Miller Park Elementary School called police Friday morning when they found what they thought was an illegal drug in a third-grader's backpack.
It turns out it was harmless: A bag of catnip, said Omaha Public Schools spokesman David Patton.
The student told authorities he found the bag on the way to school.
