Four people were seriously injured Friday morning in two separate two-car traffic accidents in southwest Omaha.
And two more people also suffered serious injuries in a South Omaha crash later in the day.
The southwest Omaha accidents occurred between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., with the first crash near 120th and L Streets and the second near 135th and Q Streets.
Two women, a 36-year-old and a 16-year-old, and two men, a 52-year-old and an 18-year-old, were taken to Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition.
Traffic was stacked up in the areas for some time after the crashes as authorities investigated the accident scenes and rerouted motorists.
Later, two people were taken in serious condition to the med center following a four-car accident about 1 p.m. on the southbound Kennedy Expressway at about L Street.
