Authorities are urging anyone with information connected to the theft of U.S. Marine Corps items stolen from a storage facility in northwest Omaha to call police.
The items, USMC camouflage fatigues with the name Bock on them and USMC dress blues, were taken last month from a Milt's Mini storage unit at 3349 Keystone Drive, police said.
The camos and dress blues belonged to the 30-year-old widow of a Marine, Tiffany Bock. Her husband, Staff Sgt. Michael Bock, posthumously received the Silver Star for combat bravery two years ago after he died in Afghanistan in August 2010.
Bock, who was 26 at the time of his death, had been deployed two times each to Iraq and Afghanistan since 2003.
Omaha police detectives are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
