More than 61,000 ballots were cast Tuesday to determine the general election candidates in races for Omaha mayor, the city council and the Omaha Public Schools board.
The two candidates with the most votes in each race advance to the general election. Vote totals are from the Douglas and Sarpy County election commissioners.
Results will be certified April 12.
If the difference in the race is 1 percent or less of the top vote-getter’s tally, a recount is required unless both candidates waive it.
