A Super Bowl 2013 celebrity touched down in Omaha today.
No, not players Joe Flacco or Colin Kaepernick or either of the brothers Harbaugh, the opposing coaches.
It's Tommie Turvey, trainer of the beloved Clydesdales that appear in Budweiser's most recent Super Bowl commercial. Titled "Brotherhood" and set to Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," the spot features the touching reunion of a rancher and the Budweiser Clydesdale he raised.
Turvey is in town for The International horse-jumping competition at the CenturyLink Center this weekend. He'll perform a series of trick rides during opening ceremonies both Friday and Saturday night. Others performing include opera singer Marcelo Guzzo (Friday) and the Omaha Symphony (Saturday).
An equine entertainer and stuntman, Turvey's credits include appearances in "The Walking Dead" and the HBO mini-series "John Adams."
