Two Omaha men were arrested for allegedly cooking methamphetamine inside a pickup truck at a city park.
Omaha police said two officers spotted the white pickup about 1:20 a.m. Thursday at Pipal Park, 7802 Hascall St.
City parks close at 11 p.m. nightly, so the occupants were in violation of the curfew.
Police said the officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. They discovered two men — Lee Thompson-Nash and Nicolas Sendgraff — were making meth inside the truck.
Thompson-Nash, 24, and Sendgraff, 20, were both arrested on suspicion of manufacturing meth and violating city park curfew. They were being held without bail Thursday at the Douglas County Jail.
