Omaha Police are looking for a second man in connection with the April 6 shooting death of Jer'ray Moore.
An arrest warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for Devaughn J. Griffin, 22. The warrant also charges Griffin with one count of use of a firearm to commit a felony.
On Thursday, LaMichael Fewell, 22, turned himself over to authorties in connection with the slaying. He was taken into custody on a warrant for second-degree murder in Junction City, Kan.
The warrant for Griffin lists an Omaha address. Police ask anyone who sees Griffin or knows of his whereabouts to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 402-444-7867. Do not approach the suspect, however, police advise.
Moore was shot outside his home in the Cherry Tree Apartments at 83rd Street and Underwood Avenue. He lived there with his girlfriend.
Moore's relatives in Omaha are seeking donations to pay for his funeral.
Donations should be sent to Kremer Funeral Home at 6302 Maple St. in Omaha, said Lt. Darci Tierney, an Omaha police spokeswoman. Donors should indicate the funds are intended for Moore's service.
