The Internet is a wacky place. What do you do when your favorite TV show goes off the air? Most of us buy the DVDs and watch the shows over and over. Writer/producer Rob Thomas decided to bring his show “Veronica Mars” back as a feature-length film. “Yeah, right,” you say. “No one will donate a Hollywood budget for a movie.” Well, Thomas has raised more than $5 million, and now the film will have a panel at San Diego Comic Con.

Cartoons don't have to be in theaters or on TV to be enjoyable. Some of the best are online shorts. We fell in love with “Shave It,” a short in which a monkey finds some hair clippers in the jungle and, well, things get interesting from there.
