Five teenagers were hurt Friday night in a rollover accident in Cass County. Four of the teens were taken to the Nebraska Medical Center, including Sydney Tincher, 17, of Plattsmouth, who suffered a head injury.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said none of the injuries was life-threatening.
The Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred at 11:38 p.m. on 24th Avenue, about 1˝ miles south of Horning Road.
The vehicle, a 2000 Ford Explorer, was driven by Brian Reissig, 18, of Plattsmouth. One passenger, Kelly Hall, 18, of Plattsmouth was ejected from the back seat.
The others in the vehicle were Octavio Gaytan, 17, of Plattsmouth and Dalton Smith, 18, of Bellevue. Only Gaytan wasn’t taken to the hospital. He was examined at the scene and released to his parents.
The Sheriff’s Office said everyone wore seat belts except Hall, and that alcohol was not a factor.
