Two people suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening when they were shot while they were in a vehicle in northeast Omaha, police said.
Officer James Shade, a police spokesman, identified the victims as Donnell Pierce, 25, and Vernita Hadley, 56. Also in the car were Shirleane Marshall, 48, and Eboni Marshall, 17.
The incident occurred at 11:47 p.m. Friday.
The victims said they were fired upon by one or more occupants of another car as the four drove home from a gas station.
The four drove to 37th Street and Himebaugh Avenue and called police. It wasn’t clear early Saturday what the relationship is among the four.
