FRENCH LICK, Ind. — The Nebraska men are in 10th place at the Big Ten Championship after shooting 32-over 608 during the first two rounds Friday.
The Husker women shot 321 in round one and are in 12th place.
Illinois leads the men’s tournament at 585, and the Northwestern women shot a 287 to lead that competition.
Nebraska freshman Kolton Lapa (150) is tied for 23rd to Nebraska’s men, while senior Jordan Reinertson (151) of Gibbon is tied for 26th.
Cassie Deeg paced the Husker women with an opening-round 79, good for a tie for 40th.
Both the men’s and women’s championships continue Saturday, with final rounds slated for Sunday.
