FRENCH LICK, Ind. — The Nebraska men finished ninth and the Husker women 11th at the Big Ten championships, which concluded Sunday.
Illinois won the men's title by nine strokes while Purdue and Northwestern shared the women's crown.
Freshman Kolton Lapa led the Husker men, shooting an even-par 72 Sunday to finish in a tie for 22nd with a 301.
Freshmen Cassie Deeg and Hannah Luebke were the Nebraska women's top finishers. Deeg shot a 1-over 73 Sunday to finish in a tie for 32nd, with a three-round score of 232. Luebke (234) closed with a 75 to tie for 38th.
