A teenage girl suffered a minor gunshot wound Monday night in a shooting in north Omaha, police said.
Authorities said the 18-year-old suffered a minor grazing wound in the shooting that occurred about 9:30 p.m. near North 41st and Ohio Streets.
After officers arrived at the shooting, the teen said she was sitting on the porch with two men when she heard several gunshots in the area. The two men fled from the area and were not found by police.
The gunshot victim initially did not want to be taken to a hospital, but she was eventually transported to Creighton University Medical Center.
Police said the investigation into the shooting was continuing.
