Papillion Days has made Livability.com's 2013 list of the Top 10 summer festivals.
More than 50,000 attend the five-day event held annually in downtown Papillion. The festival features a parade, carnival, concerts and other activities.
Livability.com said it looked for summer festivals that were most connected to city identity, experiences and community participation, according to the website. The Papillion community festival came in ninth in the rankings released Friday.
Last year Livability ranked Papillion the No. 1 small town in the country for its schools, diverse economy and low unemployment and crime rates.
Cheyenne Frontier Days, which is held in Cheyenne, Wyo., had top spot in the festival rankings.
This year's Papillion Days will be June 12-16.
