A 15-year-old Omaha girl injured in an auto crash this week died Friday night, police said.
Anna Lundberg, who suffered head and lung injuries in the Monday crash, was taken off life support at Creighton University Medical Center and pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m.
She had been in critical condition since the collision at 162nd Street and West Dodge Road.
Lundberg was a passenger in her mother's car, a 2002 Hyundai Elantra, that was either stopped or nearly stopped in the far right lane with its hazard lights on, police said.
A 2011 Chevy Avalanche pickup slammed into the rear of the Hyundai, police said.
The three other people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. They are Anna's mother, Yesha W. Lundberg, 44; the Chevy driver, Chad M. Gracey, 40, of Omaha; and his passenger, Tyler Gracey, 10, of Omaha. — Emerson Clarridge
